Sofia Fernandez is a valued Medical Assistant at Sunshine Medical Wellness Center, a future Registered Nurse, and an aspiring aesthetic injector for the clinic. Known for her warm and approachable nature, Sofia is deeply committed to making every patient feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. Whether assisting with wellness visits or supporting aesthetic treatments, she ensures a smooth, personalized experience from start to finish. With a strong clinical foundation and a growing focus on aesthetic medicine, Sofia brings both compassion and professionalism to every interaction — helping patients feel confident not only in their results, but in their care every step of the way.

Kate Novakovic is a dedicated Medical Assistant at Sunshine Medical Wellness Center, a future physician, and a proud University of Miami student currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Born and raised in Miami, Kate has always felt a strong calling to help others—a passion that has driven her toward a career in medicine from an early age. With her acceptance into medical school already secured, she is well on her way to becoming the compassionate and dynamic doctor she’s always aspired to be. Kate brings a wealth of experience to her role, having previously worked in medical reception, secretarial roles, a plastic surgery call center, and as a medical scribe for Baptist Urgent Care of South Florida. She also holds multiple internships and glowing recommendations that reflect her work ethic, professionalism, and love for patient care. Known for her upbeat energy, personable nature, and problem-solving mindset, Kate is committed to creating a welcoming environment for every patient.
